Ramen to you all… and a most Happy International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

Pirate and Wench (sort of!)

Pirate and Wench (sort of!)

Today, September 19th is observed by all modern Pirates, and members of the Church of FSM.

Avast, web address with more details and most helpful pick up lines sighted – go to

As a card carrying member of the Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster, I have to share the intense joy of coming into contact with His Noodly influence…

With no fatalities attributed to any of our membership, we are the most peaceful religion ever…

Joining is easy – just go to

If you happen to sight His Noodly image anywhere, please send in your sighting pic.

In order to observe this special day, I went to the beach and felt closer to all me mateys livin’ and dead. I felt the unity with the spirit of the Buccaneers who have been handed over to Davey Jones’ locker, and the good modern pirate folk frequenting the beach…

All that’s left to say is:

C’mere me buxom beauty, I’d love to drop anchor in your lagoon!

PS: If you took offense at this – read this, and ask yourself why.

  2. Hey Great that you have a Durban Church for the FSM! We’re big fans oursevles. Found your link on the talk like a pirate day site and thought I’d leave this message. We’re planning a party in Hilton due north of you for TLAP day 19 Sept 2011, and will drink a toast of best Venezuelan Rum to ya!

Dont forget to wear you colander from time to time as religious apparel in honour of the Great FSM!
